The buns are human hair, however be aware that the monitor shows the light blonde as having a more cool tone than in person. When mine arrived it was a very bright and brassy yellow, it did not match with my natural hair. I had to use a Ion toner on them to cancel out the brass tones. Afterwards, they take a long time to dry as this hair has been processed quite heavily. I am happy with the final result as they now match and look very cute! I only wish the seller could sell some in a white platinum blonde already toned.
